She's a non-mainstream singer from Iceland. Non-mainstream music is a kind of music which is never or rarely played on radio or on TV. Which is good. And original. So you won't think that Pussycat Dolls, Lady GaGa and Akon are the only type of music that exists. They suck, really.

Not really. My mum HATES Björk. She thinks she can't sing and it's pure noise. She's not very open when it comes to music. My younger brother also hates it when I play her music out loud. My elder brother is okay with it. He listens to her music occasionally but is not really a fan. My maid doesn't understand why she deserves to be popular. So, that makes me and my dad the only fans of her in my house.
